I finally decided to make my payments from my German account in Euro arriving as British Pound at the Clipper account. That’ll save me some money on transfer fees. BofA would charge me $30 per wire transfer!
During the day I got my physical done. Since my previous physical has been a few years back I thought I combine this with the medical exam I need for Clipper anyway. Everything is perfect. I even got a Tetanus refresher shot. Unfortunately that’s one shot not required by Clipper. I still have to get a few of them. At least the exam is now off my to-do list.
Today arrived my Dubarry Ultima boots. I ordered them in size 11.5 (US) and I was anxious to see how they fit. When ordering them about a week back I figured to add half a number to the size of my old rubber sailing boots to account for additional socks I still have to get. Trying them with thick wool socks, they fit perfectly. So I think I got it right.
